Most of you realize that the Oasis Shriners have been involved continuously since 1937 with the

All-Star Classic sports productions of football and now girl’s soccer. We believe that this game

continues to be the only state- to- state competition for women’s shrine sports of any kind.

We are proud to continue to be leaders in new territories of shrine sports productions. Like any

progressive organization, Oasis All Star has changed with the times. We still are number one in

fund raising year after year. Revamping projects and generating new projects remain our focus

and life- line to the future. Our Membership program continues to drive us toward new outlets for

Masons and Shriners. Currently we find a relationship with the Independent Schools

and their Athletic Associations building toward that future.

The Oasis All-Star Group is committed to recognize the student athletes from these associations for their achievements both on and off the field. We are proud to offer this stage for these men and women to compete.

We have met and made so many new friends this last year that that alone stands out as an accomplishment

that without our leadership and pioneering spirit would have never happened. No one ever needs to remind

us of our ultimate goals. Our record speaks for itself.

But we have other important goals as well. First we hope to introduce ourselves to a group of wonderful people that might not have otherwise had the opportunity to know us. Our hopes are to have them

understand why we do what we do. We also hope that in the future if we meet during our efforts

to enhance the lives of others that these new friends might find our efforts noble and worthy, even

to a contribution. And most special, we hope to display everything we stand for as Masons and Shriners to the point that someone might be encouraging of others or themselves to join our fraternity.

The excitement will be even higher this year as we play at Charlotte Latin, where the games began in 2005.

Shrine Clubs and Shrine Units are joining the efforts to make an impression on every player and family member.

This coming Thanksgiving week again will be one for the books. It has been a privilege to be a part of this venture.
